1st Shift 7:00am – 3:30pm
Following all company safety policies and procedures. Responsible develop a master production plan that satisfies customer demand while carrying minimum effective inventory. This role is focused on managing shop floor schedules and the efficient manufacture of components and assemblies. The scheduler will work with other managers to analyze and revise production plans to ensure customer satisfaction and is responsible for analyzing reports on actual customer demand, trends and forecasts, and adjust capacity plans accordingly.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (BS or BA) from an accredited college in business administration, material management, accounting, engineering, or similar relevant focus. Working experience in a “engineered to order” manufacturing environment with hands on experience in inventory, & planning including ERP and MRP background. Experienced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, etc. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal, written, and electronic). Ability to work in a team setting. Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and be self-motivated requiring little supervision. Understand company and manufacturing objectives. U.S. Citizenship.
Knowledge of ISO/AS/QS standards. Analyzing capacity requirements, identifying mid- to long-term bottlenecks and discussing corrective action with management experience. Sound experience with manufacturing concepts (i.e. Lean Manufacturing, CPIM), Microsoft Excel expertise (example: Pivot tables, v- lookup, formulas, macros) and/or SQL queries and Crystal Reports. Project management, and/or purchasing, and/or commodities, suppliers and/or procedures in the manufacturing sector knowledge. CPM and/or APICS certification.
